FAQ
What counties does LandXchange cover?
LandXchange operates statewide across all 46 SC counties. Some counties have richer comp coverage than others depending on whether the county records are publicly accessible.
Does LandXchange cover my SC county?
All 46 SC counties — Abbeville to York. Listing infrastructure is statewide. Smart Pricing comp data is most complete for: Lexington, Florence, Spartanburg, Anderson, Beaufort, Berkeley, Charleston, Greenville, Horry, Richland, Aiken, Pickens, York, and Orangeburg. Other counties get pricing estimates with broader sample sets and lower confidence scores.
Why do some counties have less data than others?
County assessor websites vary in how they expose recorded sales. Counties using Schneider Beacon (qpublic.schneidercorp.com) are easiest to scrape; counties with proprietary portals (Greenville, Richland, Charleston, Horry, Anderson) have less public data. We are continuously adding county sources.
Will LandXchange expand to other states?
Texas next — LandXchange supports async-internet auctions in Texas (a different regulatory regime than SC). Beyond that, we are SC + TX-focused for now and have no plans to expand to other states until we are dominant in our home markets.
