How LandXchange works

LandXchange is a peer-to-peer marketplace for vacant land in South Carolina. Sellers list directly, buyers offer directly, and a partner title company handles closing. No agents, no commissions.

  1. What does LandXchange do?

    LandXchange is a marketplace technology platform that connects vacant-land sellers with buyers in South Carolina. We host the listing, generate AI pricing estimates from county comp data, route offers and counters between the two parties, and refer the closing to a partner title company. We never represent either side and never hold escrow.

  2. Who can list land on LandXchange?

    Anyone who owns vacant land in South Carolina (and Texas, async-only). You list as the owner of record. We do not list houses, condos, commercial buildings, or improved residential lots — only raw / vacant / agricultural / recreational land.

  3. How long does it take to list?

    About four minutes. Enter the address or parcel, upload photos, and we auto-pull parcel data from county records. The Smart Pricing Engine returns three price tiers (cash-fast, market, owner-finance) instantly.

  4. Does LandXchange charge a commission?

    No. Free organic listings cost zero up-front and zero at close. We offer optional paid placement tiers (Featured and Premium) for sellers who want priority visibility. We never charge a percentage commission.
