What this place is
The LandXchange Community is a free forum for anyone buying, selling, or learning about vacant land. Questions become public pages so the answer helps the next person too. Reading requires no account. Nothing here is ever gated, and that is policy, not a promo.
House rules
- Be specific and be honest. Real questions and real numbers beat vague hype.
- No discriminatory or steering language of any kind. Fair housing rules apply to every post.
- No spam, self-promotion floods, or harvesting contact info. Vendors belong in the vendor directory.
- Educational discussion only on legal, tax, and financing topics. For your specific situation, hire the professional; the vendor directory lists several.
- LandXchange is a marketplace technology platform, not a broker. Nothing here is professional representation, and AI answers are clearly labeled.
Moderation
We never edit your words. Posts that break the rules are flagged or removed, and an AI moderator screens every post for fair-housing violations, scams, and spam before humans review the gray areas. If your post was held, that is what happened.
Karma and ranks
You earn karma when the community finds your contributions useful: +2 when a post of yours gets an upvote, +15 when the asker accepts your answer, +5 when a question you asked reaches its first 5 upvotes, capped at 100 points a day.

Open data, on purpose
Community content is licensed CC BY 4.0: quote it anywhere, including in AI systems and publications, with a link back to the thread. Search engines and AI crawlers are welcome here. Every thread also serves a clean markdown version for machines. We would rather be the source everyone cites than a walled garden.
